Achieving my dream

Before starting my NuSkin business, I was a retired university professor with a Ph.D. in English. I became a volunteer with various organizations, such as Hearts United for Animals (www.hua.org). Realizing the need to assist financially as well as to provide foster care for rescued animals, I looked for a business where I could work from home.

Because had taught at the secondary school and college level, was a published author and convention speaker, and had directed a summer program for academically gifted young people, I felt I had the experience and background that could educate people about rescuing animals and ending animal cruelty. I realized that I needed to build up a large financial base from which I could support the endeavors of HUA. I needed the right vehicle to do so.

When I was first introduced to Nuskin Enterprises, I saw an opportunity to make money while staying at home. I learned that the company was well respected globally so I turbotracked in August of 2007, receiving many products including the Galvanic Spa. I never even opened it. I had never heard of it.

Because my sponsor left the company soon after I joined, I floundered about for months. I knew about photos because I had numerous photo albums. Therefore, I began with the Photomax division, creating photobooks, calendars, DVDs, and a purse with photos of my furry family. My family was delighted to see labeled photos of family members, including ones they had never seen before. However, I was not making money.

Then two things happened. First, Kim Lower found me and began to coach me. She suggested I listen to some calls hosted by Team Elites of the company. On one of these, I identified myself as being from Omaha. Karen Johnson, who was raised in Omaha, invited me to a party at her sister's house just after Christmas. She showed me how to use the Galvanic Spa, urged me to use the Ultra, and told me to start giving spa parties.

Kim, my coach, helps me to focus and to move steadily toward my goal. In addition to weekly coaching calls, she emails me daily.

I locked into the antiaging and wellness aspect of the business. I enjoy excellent health and want to maintain it. Vitamin supplements are a way of life for this vegetarian. After I was scanned with the BioPhotonic Scanner, I discovered that my antioxidant level was not as good as it should be. I changed to LifePak Nano and G3 twice a day. I use the Galvanic with AgeLoc and the Ultra with ethocyn so that I look as young as I feel. Many people believe I am years younger than I really am. I like that. I can be a "walking billboard" for my business.

With a coach I trust and a team who cares, I am enjoying helping others achieve their dreams of financial independence. I am moving closer to my goal of building a recurring residual income from which I shall achieve Aunt Jean's House, a loving sanctuary of rescued animals at HUA.

I have a strong "why" for doing my business.
